Jason relays his further Texas adventures and fun with bureaucracy. Susie recounts her adventures in beer tasting at the recent “Hop(s) in the City” event, and reviews the movie “Unbroken.” They offer their condolences to Mary Katherine Ham on the loss of her husband, Jake Brewer, and appreciation for the President’s thoughtful statement on his loss. They also ponder the Syrian refugee crisis and the travails of Ahmed the Clock Maker. They then turn to the recent GOP debate and give their analysis of the candidate performances and who they think should stay or go. In Episode 83 of “Q with a View,” hosts Susie Moore & Jason Dibler decide to kick bad news to the curb and focus on nothing but good news for the entire show. They talk about Susie’s birthday, Jason’s exciting new job opportunity, and the success of the Cards AND Cubbies (including their recent no-hitter!) Susie shares how the recent prayer rally at Planned Parenthood actually did make a difference, and they discuss how several pro-life families are walking the walk through adoption. They also share links to some cute videos and pics of kids learning they’re going to be big brothers and sisters and snuggling with puppies. Other great stories include that of 17 year old Malyk Bonnet of Quebec who followed his instincts and helped rescue a woman who’d been kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, and how community members joined together to help fix up an older couple’s home which had fallen into disrepair. Susie also shares a touching tribute to football legend Bart Starr and his efforts to make it back to Lambeau to help Brett Favre retire his number on Thanksgiving. In Episode 81 of “Q with a View,” hosts Susie Moore & Jason Dibler talk Colorado vacation, back to school, birthdays and “12 Angry Men.” They’re joined by special guest Scott Dannemiller, who recently authored the book “The Year Without A Purchase – One Family’s Quest to Stop Shopping and Start Connecting.” It’s a great read and Scott had some great stories and reflections to share about their endeavor to stop focusing on THINGS and start focusing on PEOPLE. Susie & Jason also discuss some of the recent goings-on in Ferguson, including the arrival of the Oath Keepers and their plans for an open carry march, as well as the (questionable?) decision by St. Louis County authorities to prosecute reporters who were detained in Ferguson last year. We’ve arrived at episode 80 of “Q with a View” without the Q. Smoosie had the night off and asked Becca Lower to fill in for her. Jason Dibler joined Becca in his usual co-hosting seat and they were joined first by Jimmie Bise to talk about baseball and the pain and frustration of needing to change fandoms. In the second portion of the show, Bill LaRussa and Kyle Becker came along to talk about the sad state of comedy the way it gets watered down for college campuses. Finally, in the final segment, Jason talks about working on creating an at-home video studio as he ponders the move to YouTube. It’s a packed show, and we’re sure you’ll love it!

Episode 79 of “Q with a View” features hosts Susie Moore and Jason Dibler and special guest Josh “Silk” Gillespie talking baseball (from the Establishment Seats), vacations, Josh’s ever-expanding brood & a brief review of “Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.” After the break, Josh offers a quasi-rant about Donald Trump, which isn’t so much a rant as an observation about the uniqueness, scariness and surprisingly successful (thus far) nature of his campaign. They also discuss the other candidates, the upcoming debate, and reflect on the approaching one year anniversary of the Michael Brown shooting and fallout of Ferguson.
