It’s the 70th(?!) episode of “Q with a View,” and hosts Susie Moore and Jason Dibler chat about the Women’s College Softball World Series and the Stanley Cup finals. Susie reviews the movie “She’s out of My League,” and they send out congratulations to several friends of the show on their recent accomplishments/milestones, including big congrats to Michele Lancaster on the announcement of her new business “CyFit Freedom”! They’re joined by special guest Marc Hyden of Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty, who discusses the recent repeal of the DP by (red state!) Nebraska, as well as the growing bi-partisan report for its repeal in other states. They also discuss the expiration of the Patriot Act provisions regarding NSA data collection and the passage Tuesday of the “USA Freedom Act” in its stead, as well as a recent spate of “left behind” handguns by Capitol Police.
